CBS Sports’ Colt Knost slams LIV Golf’s ratings during WM Phoenix Open telecast

Scottsdale, Ariz. – During the broadcast of the WM Phoenix Open on Saturday, CBS golf teams will call Coltnost and Amanda Barionis to action from inside the stadium on the par 3 16th, an unruly setting perfect for television. I assigned it like that.

While there, Knost said thousands of people narrowed down to golf's most famous coliseum. Knost then took a shot with Liv Golf. LivGolf began its season under Saudi Arabia's lights this week.

“We have 24,000 people around hole 16 today,” Nost said.

“If I'm not wrong, that's 12,000 times more.”

Friday, X Account YeahClickClack Liv Golf reported a slight average of season opening rounds Fox Sports2's 12,000 viewers (FS2). Certainly, FS2, one of FOX's sports networks, is less watched than its more prominent and profitable sister channel, Fox Sports 1 (FS1). However, it's a huge disappointment that Liv Golf has only had 12,000 viewers on American network television in the first round of the year. Certainly, one of the league's biggest stars, Phil Mickelson, did not play due to a shoulder injury. But Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Bryson Dechambeau and Tyrrell Hatton all did.

Adrian Melonk won by two shots at Rahm in Riyadh on Saturday.
