Celebrities reveal their goals for the New Year

Many celebrities are already looking ahead to 2026.

As the new year approaches, stars are setting personal goals to spend more time with their families, improve their fitness routines, strengthen their spiritual lives, and even participate in shows like “Dancing with the Stars.”

A variety of public figures, including athletes, reality stars, and even the Mayor of New York City, shared their aspirations with The Post this week.

Mayor Eric Adams

“After decades of public service, I aim to focus on my family. They’ve made a lot of sacrifices, and I want to be present for them as much as I can.”

Rob Gronkowski, “Rockin’ Eve” co-host, former NFL player, and Fox Sports Analyst

“To run two sprints weekly, it’s essential to get at least seven hours of sleep and fly fewer hours than last year.”

Jermaine Johnson II, New York Jets linebacker

“My resolution is to strengthen my faith and grow closer to God.”

Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets wide receiver

“I want to focus on cooking more.”

Armando Menbou, New York Jets offensive tackle

“My goal is to stay fit during the offseason.”

Chef Daniel Boulud

“We count on your generosity to aid older New Yorkers through our CityMeals on Wheels program. We hope to see more people get involved. Plus, we’re looking forward to some vacation time with our kids.”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, star of ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’

“In 2026, I want to focus on growth, appreciation, and purpose. I’m committed to expanding Archangel, my treatment center, and sharing my journey of strength and hope with others. Recovery has transformed my life, and I’ll keep paying it forward, day by day.”

Jared Freed, comedian

“My resolution is to get my clothes to fit like they did when I bought them. I want to look good without having to stretch my shirts like I’m prepping pizza. I want to feel good about my reflection and be confident enough to raise my arms without worrying someone will ask if I’m wearing a crop top. I hope this Ozempic does what they say it will.”

Jade Schenker, “Owning Manhattan” star

“I’ve been focusing on visualization. This year, I want to diversify my business ventures more and take part in projects like ‘Dancing with the Stars’, while continuing to build our all-star team across different sectors.”

Zarna Garg, comedian

“My New Year’s resolution is to cement my role as the world’s leading near-therapist. I plan to tell people honestly what they’re doing wrong, because I believe that re-traumatizing them might just be the key to undoing their trauma.”
