Celine Dion’s partner appeared cheerful and in good spirits as she shared a Thanksgiving message with her followers, despite her ongoing fight against stiff person syndrome.

In a video posted on Thursday, she began by addressing her audience directly, stating, “Today is a great day to remind us to slow down, take deep breaths, and be grateful.”

She emphasized the strength of gathering with loved ones, whether around a dinner table, on a call, or simply in our hearts.

Continuing, the singer, who is 57, expressed her gratitude: “I’m so grateful for my family and the moments we share. They truly mean the world to me.”

She wrapped up her message with warm wishes, hoping for joy, peace, and appreciation even for the little things during Thanksgiving.

The post included a sentiment wishing everyone a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with love and cherished time with family.

In December 2022, Dion had shared her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome, causing the cancellation or postponement of several scheduled concerts. She conveyed her health battles in an emotional video, detailing her struggles and the difficult nature of the syndrome, which affects about one in a million individuals.

As she explained, this rare neurological disorder leads to muscle stiffness and spasms, significantly impacting her ability to perform. In a June 2024 interview, she described the sensation as feeling like someone is choking her, providing further insight into her daily challenges associated with the condition.
