During a lively scene at TD Garden, Knicks fans were seen making a ruckus, leaving one Celtics employee visibly overwhelmed as she attempted to manage the situation.
She was caught on video pleading for help, saying, “Security. Help me. Help me. Get them,” while trying to navigate through the crowd. In her exasperation, she called for the removal of one specific fan, asking, “Get this guy out now. Please let this guy go.”
The employee seemed to suggest that Knicks fans had pushed her, although the footage didn’t show any direct contact.
As security arrived, they didn’t seem to share the same urgency about the celebration happening among Knicks supporters, who were recording the scene while chanting and cheering. Boston Globe columnist Bill Speros chimed in, humorously noting that avoiding such chaos might have been easier if the Celtics hadn’t blown a significant lead.
The Knicks, displaying a flair for dramatics in the game, had initially struggled. They fell behind by 20 points in both of the first two games before mounting a late rally, ultimately clinching a surprising victory.
Mikal Bridges emerged as a standout, contributing 14 points in the fourth quarter alone, helping his team outscore the Celtics 30-17 during that period.
Looking ahead, this Celtics employee might want to steer clear of Madison Square Garden on Saturday. With Game 3 looming, Knicks fans are expected to bring the energy, likely making it a challenging atmosphere for those in green.
