A well-known and outspoken figure in the real estate industry is reacting to President Biden not seeking reelection, arguing that the Democratic Party isn’t the same as it used to be.
“The Democratic Party I grew up with is no longer the party of the common man. We now know that it was all a sham,” Grant Cardon, entrepreneur and CEO of Cardon Capital, told Fox News Digital just a day after Biden’s announcement.
“My first thought when I heard Biden was not running was, ‘We’ve been lied to for over four years,'” he continued. “He should resign immediately.”
Biden posted a letter on X on Sunday announcing he was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race, minutes after endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as his top choice.
Since the first presidential debate in June, Biden has faced a wave of defections from Democrats calling for him to drop out of the race after his shaky public performance.
“The idea that he will remain the leader of the United States for another five months is insanity,” Cardone said. “Knowing his precarious condition, it also means that our country, run by others and not by him, is falling apart…There has not even been an explanation to ‘we the people.'”
Sunday’s news further solidified Cardone’s support for former President Donald Trump.
“Personally, I know I can trust him to deregulate business, protect America, put an end to nonsense, and foster the greatest growth in middle class wealth,” Cardone explained. “And he’ll be great for the real estate industry, which is in big trouble if interest rates aren’t lowered immediately.”
“I’m in the south of France and people from France, England, Dubai, Serbia, Canada, Colombia are coming and saying they can’t believe what’s going on in America. They want Trump. They’re some of the most successful people in the world,” the real estate mogul added. “They believe he’ll rise up after the assassination.” [attempt] “Trump is what’s best for America and world peace,” he said.
Cardone said U.S. home buyers and sellers have become more optimistic about the housing market since the assassination attempt on President Trump at a Pennsylvania rally about a week ago.

“Trump will destroy Kamala because the policies she supported and was on the knees for have failed. I can’t see her getting enough support from Democrats to nominate her,” the Cardon Capital founder said.
“No one can beat Trump! Not even Barack can get re-elected. America wants to succeed again.”
