We barely know what happened Real Housewives of Dubai The Season 2 reunion was filmed just a week ago, but the day before they headed into the lion’s den, Chanel Ayan told DECIDER that she wasn’t soft on Caroline Brooks.
While Ayan said he plans to reunite with Resa Milan “with love” regarding his broken friendship, he noted that he “doesn’t have good feelings about Brooks.”
“I’ve had a lot of conversations with Brooks and I think it’s weird that she’s meddling in my business,” Ayan said, referring to the confession Brooks made at the supermodel’s Ayan Beauty launch party.
“It really hurt me because I grew up in a family that used to live in a mosque,” Ayan continued. “We had nothing to eat.”
Ayan was also upset that Brooks claimed he was “uneducated.”
“Hey, why not? Me too, but think about where I am now,” Ayan shot back. “You’ve had your whole life of education. You went to college. You’ve done so much. But why do you have a sugar daddy?”
Additionally, Ayan was “hurt” to see Brooks gleefully fighting with Milan. When speaking with Brooks, she admitted that she gleefully watched Ayan and Milan fight because she believed it was “karma” for them to be “mean” to her in Season 1.
“If anyone gets hit with karma every day, it’s Brooks. She sleeps, wakes up, eats, pees. It’s indescribable,” Ayan said. “I’m not gonna lie, when I saw that, I was like, ‘Man, you really hoped we wouldn’t be friends,’ and I don’t like seeing that because I still care about Resa.”
She added, “And she says we were mean? Are you serious? Does she know who she is? I bet she doesn’t. Most of the time she doesn’t know who she is.”

Ayan wasn’t the only person Brooks had to answer to at the reunion. The Glass House salon owner got into a bit of trouble with longtime friend Tareen Marie this season. As Marie and Caroline Stanbury’s friendship grew stronger, Brooks accused the newbie of “begging” to join the series. Tension between the pair eventually escalated into a shouting match at Stanbury’s housewarming party.
While the pair’s feud appears to have been resolved in Bali, Brooks told DECIDER that it’s “totally delusional” to expect Marie to apologize.
“This is going to be a very tough reunion for both of them,” Ayan said of his former best friend, “but I’m excited to see Tareen put Brooks back in his place.”
Real Housewives of Dubai It airs every Tuesday at 9pm ET/8pm PT on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream on Peacock the next day.
