Charlamagne criticizes 'The View' for excluding conservative guests

Charlamagne Tha God Critiques “The View” for Lack of Conservative Voices

Charlamagne Tha God, host of “The Breakfast Club,” took to social media on Monday to voice his opinions on “The View,” criticizing the show for exclusively featuring liberal perspectives.

During a segment on Lara Trump’s Fox News program, he remarked on the absence of conservative guests, highlighting that “The View” hosted 102 guests leaning left without including any conservatives. “It’s absurd to have a platform and only engage with people you agree with. That contributes nothing,” he stated, referencing the daytime talk show known for its liberal hosts like Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg.

The current roster of hosts includes former Trump aide Alyssa Farah Griffin, who, notably, does not back Trump for the 2024 election.

Charlamagne shared his views on potential presidential candidates for 2028, reiterating the importance of diverse perspectives within media discussions.

His remarks came following a report from the Media Research Center (MRC), which revealed a significant bias in “The View’s” guest selections. Over the first seven months of 2025, the show featured an overwhelming number of left-leaning guests compared to none from conservative backgrounds. Even the invitations extended to Republicans or conservatives seemed unclear, according to the MRC’s analysis of episodes aired from January 6 to July 25.

In a previous assessment, it was found that April’s lineup included 63 liberal guests and, again, zero conservatives.

“The View is transparent about its intent to promote the Democratic agenda, whether by critiquing Trump and his allies or spotlighting Democratic figures. This year, they’ve only conversed with liberals on political matters,” he added.

Fox News Digital has reached out for a response from “The View.”
