Charlamagne Tha God Dashes Kamala Harris’ 2028 Aspirations: ‘Democrats Are Really Struggling’

Podcaster and radio host Charlamagne recently cautioned former Vice President Kamala Harris against running for president again, suggesting it might not be worthwhile for her. He has expressed skepticism about the Democratic Party’s trajectory and hasn’t changed his views on Harris’s chances for the presidency since her previous campaigns.

On a recent episode of the Breakfast Club, Charlamagne, while promoting Harris’s new book, warned her about the uncertainty of her political future. He acknowledged her potential as a Democratic leader but reiterated that her odds of winning the presidency are slim.

“I think Kamala can definitely be a Democrat leader,” he remarked. “But I’m not sure if she should run again. It might be better for her to write a book, start a podcast, and connect more with the people.” He noted her youth, reflecting on the unpredictability of the political landscape for 2028. “I just don’t know what will happen then. It’s tough, man. The Democrats are in a bad spot. I’m not sure about them,” he added.

If Harris decides to run again, it would be her third attempt, following a campaign where she didn’t secure any primary wins back in 2019. She eventually became a candidate when Joe Biden chose not to pursue a second term.

Charlamagne has been critical of the Democrats for a while now. Just recently, he pointed out that they seem to lack a clear message that resonates with voters, including moderates. “I just don’t have faith in them,” he shared. “They need something more compelling than just pointing out Trump’s flaws. Being against Trump isn’t enough anymore,” he concluded.
