Charlamagne tha God says he agrees with Robert De Niro: I also suffer from ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

Multimedia mogul Charlaman Tha God has said he is aligned with liberal Hollywood icon Robert De Niro, admitting that he too suffers from “Trump Madness Syndrome.”

De Niro made a surprise appearance outside a Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday on behalf of the Biden campaign as closing arguments were taking place in his New York criminal trial, blasting former President Trump, calling him a “tyrant.”

“Donald Trump is trying to destroy not only the city, but the country, and ultimately potentially the world,” the Oscar-winning actor declared to reporters.

Charlaman, appearing on “Gutfeld!” Tuesday night, wholeheartedly agreed.

“I want to go on record as saying that I completely agree with Robert De Niro,” Charmagne said. “I am one of those people who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“I think he’s a threat to democracy. I think he led an attempted coup in his own country,” he told Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld.

He also drew attention to Project 2025, a proposal from the Heritage Foundation for a conservative president to overhaul the federal government after the next election.

“I’m the type of guy who doesn’t know if he’s going to leave for sure, but I hope that’s the case,” Charmagne added.

The Biden campaign drew attention on Tuesday morning when it announced it would hold a news conference with “special guests” just outside the ongoing Trump trial.

In addition to De Niro, special guests included Officer Michael Fanone of the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department and former U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn, who were at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Critics slammed the political ploy, saying it contradicted President Biden’s past assertions that the criminal trial against Trump was not politically motivated.
