Charles Barkley blasts ‘petty’ women ‘hatin’ on Caitlin Clark’ after new WNBA star ‘gettin’ y’all a** private charters’

NBA legend and broadcasting mogul Charles Barkley has scolded the “boring” women he says “hate on Caitlin Clark” after the WNBA newcomer’s marketing clout has brought so much money to the league that it even inspired a song about “getting a private charter flight for all of you.”

Outkick said Berkeley’s Wednesday rant Powerful words of support NBA superstar LeBron James had this to say about Clark: “My favorite thing that she brings to the sport is that it makes more people want to watch, more people want to tune in. Don’t get me wrong. Don’t ruin it. Kaitlyn Clark is the reason so many great things happen in the WNBA. But I don’t think she, personally, should get involved in any of what’s being said. Just have fun. Have fun. I’m rooting for Kaitlyn because I’ve been in that position before. I’ve walked that same path. I wish her the best of luck.”

“In fact, the Indiana Fever’s No. 1 draft picks have been drawing huge crowds wherever they play, causing WNBA ticket prices to increase by nearly 250%.”

Barkley very much agreed, expressing his feelings amid laughter from the TNT Sports commentators. His hilarious rants:

“You girls are all mean! Hey LeBron, you are 100% right about the girls not liking Kaitlyn Clark. You mean girls! Guys are meant to be mean because we are the most unstable bunch in the world. You should be thankful that she arranged a private charter for you guys and all the money and fame she brought to the WNBA. Don’t be mean like a guy!”

Barclay added that others should send Clark “bouquets of flowers” in recognition of his achievements.

In fact, Clark, the Indiana Fever’s No. 1 draft pick, draws huge crowds wherever she plays, causing WNBA ticket prices to increase by nearly 250%. Outkick added that the positive financial outlook due to Clark’s popularity has led the league to allow charter flights to operate, something Barkley referenced in her rant.

What are others saying?

Las Vegas Aces WNBA player A’ja Wilson said Clark is “more marketable” because he’s white. He told the Associated Press Race, she said, “is a huge issue. A lot of people might say it’s not about black or white, but for me it is. It’s true that I can be a leading black woman, but maybe people still don’t want to see that.”

Jemele Hill, outspoken sports commentator He told the Los Angeles Times “We’d be very naive if we didn’t say that her race and sexual orientation played a role in her popularity. A lot of people, including players, are happy for Kaitlyn’s success, which has had a huge impact on the game. But it’s also a bit problematic because it speaks to the value and marketability of players who are already here.”
