Details Surrounding Tyler Robinson and His Relationship with Lance Twiggs
Tyler Robinson, linked to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, seems to have some interesting dynamics in his personal life. His boyfriend, Lance Twiggs, has posted about supporting Joe Biden on social media, albeit in a joking way that touches upon mental health issues.
The 22-year-old Twiggs, who aspires to be a professional gamer, commented in a 2022 Reddit thread, expressing his allegiance to Biden. Interestingly, his conservative Christian family hails from Utah, and he has transitioned from male to female. Spencer Cox, the governor, confirmed their relationship.
The Reddit post in question came from a space known for sarcasm, where users made lighthearted comments about political figures like former Republican candidate Jeb Bush.
One commentary read, “One day, Jeb becomes president and America will completely reform into utopia,” showcasing the humorous tone of the discussions.
Initial reports about this were highlighted by social media activities, as noted in a link.
In another post, Twiggs revealed that he had been targeted with ads related to mental health treatments, including schizophrenia. He humorously noted how the ads aligned with his situation.
Although not heavily political in nature, Twiggs frequently mentioned his gender transition and his departure from Christian beliefs.
As more details emerged, Robinson’s connection to a “furry” lifestyle came to light. An account on Furaffinity.net, known for hosting sexualized cartoon animal content, reportedly used names connected to Robinson, according to a friend.
A cartridge believed to be tied to the murder weapon contained a message reading, “Notice, bulging, OWO What is this?”—a phrase popular in the “fur” meme community.
Twiggs expressed shock upon hearing about the allegations against Robinson and has been cooperative with law enforcement, sharing online messages with authorities.
According to reports, Robinson’s online activity mixed liberal viewpoints with gamer humor and memes. Growing up in the Mormon faith, he distanced himself from the church before the alleged crime took place.
Law enforcement agencies are now investigating whether left-wing organizations in Utah were aware of Robinson’s intentions. Strikingly, one group, “Armed Queers Salt Lake City,” has deleted their social media presence, though the reasons remain unclear.
Robinson is set to appear in court for the first time on Tuesday, facing charges related to aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious injury, and obstruction of justice.
It has also been reported that President Trump is pursuing the death penalty should Robinson be found guilty.
