Fox News to Air Special on Charlie Kirk

Fox News Channel has announced a one-hour Primetime Special titled “Charlie Kirk: An American Original.” This program is set to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, following his tragic assassination at Utah Valley University earlier this week.

In the special, Watters will reflect on Kirk’s significant impact as a conservative leader, a skilled communicator, and a crucial figure in the movement he helped inspire. Various friends and colleagues will participate, including Donald Trump Jr., Lara Trump, Graham Allen, Outkick’s Riley Gaines, and Rev. Jack Hibbs. Prominent Fox personalities such as Cain, Laura Ingraham, Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, and Lawrence Jones will also share their insights on Kirk’s profound influence.

Jason Chaffetz, a Fox News contributor who was in Utah during the shooting, will join Lisa Booth in this special presentation.

Kirk, who was just 31 and a father of two, was engaged in discussions on the University of Utah campus when he was shot in the neck. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead that same afternoon. He had been invited to speak by the campus chapter of Turning Point USA, which has grown to be one of the country’s most influential political organizations. Kirk frequently appeared on Fox programs.

Kirk was known as a proud advocate for Christian values on campuses across the nation, famously stating, “I’m nothing without Jesus.”

Just a day before, Kirk had made his final appearance on “The Will Cain Show,” and co-hosted “Fox & Friends Weekend” in July.

Authorities confirmed on Friday that a suspect in the murder is now in custody.

The special “Charlie Kirk: An American Original” will air again on ET on Sunday at 7 PM and will be available for streaming on Fox Nation.
