Charlie Kirk’s Final Book Released Posthumously
Today marks the official release of Charlie Kirk’s latest book, Stop, in God’s Name, just months after the Turning Point USA founder was tragically killed while speaking at Utah Valley University. His friends and family have been actively promoting this work.
Donald Trump Jr. shared his thoughts on X, stating, “A month before Charlie Kirk was taken from us, he wrote his last book. Get this book now.” The link provided leads to more details about the book.
The book, titled In God’s Name Stop: Why Respecting the Sabbath Will Change Your Life, explores the Sabbath as a transformative act of resistance, claiming it can lead to a deeper sense of connection and peace. It promises to help readers recharge and reconnect in meaningful ways with God, family, and themselves.
TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Corbett noted that the book is the result of over a year of dedicated research by Kirk. He described Kirk’s journey of meditation and study as a “true labor of love” and suggested it may be Kirk’s most impactful work. Corbett also shared an interview where Kirk’s widow, Erica, spoke about the emotional significance of this release after her husband’s passing.
Erica Kirk, now CEO of Turning Point USA, emphasized that her husband didn’t just write this book; he truly lived its messages. In her conversation with Sean Hannity, she mentioned, “When you feel something deeply and live it, you want to share it. This is going to change your life.”
She further elaborated on the personal nature of the book, describing it as a reflection of Kirk’s experiences and beliefs. “This is his last message. People can analyze his work, but these are his words. When you read them, it feels like he’s come to life. It’s powerful,” she said.
Sean Hannity, who read the book fully, found the experience deeply moving, calling it “very powerful.” Yet, Erica admitted that she struggles with the final pages. “Honestly, I can’t read the last few pages. I’m not there yet. It’s emotional because once you finish reading it, it’s over,” she admitted.
