Chase Young has once again found a new home in the NFL, signing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints to join their defensive line, ESPN reports.
Young’s contract is reportedly worth $13 million, fully guaranteed through the 2024 season.
Young reportedly met with the Saints on Monday, where he said he “likes the team’s defensive setup.”

Young, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, was traded from the Washington Commanders to the San Francisco 49ers last season for a compensatory third-round pick.
He totaled five sacks and 15 tackles in seven games with Washington, followed by 2.5 sacks and 10 tackles in nine regular season games with San Fran. His 7.5 total sacks were a career high.

Young also contributed in Super Bowl III, sacking Patrick Mahomes in an overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 24-year-old burst onto the NFL scene in his rookie year, recording 7.5 sacks, 44 tackles (10 for loss), 12 quarterback hits, three fumble recoveries, and one touchdown return, making him a defensive rookie. won an award. This year’s.
