Chelsea Clinton wants to become an ambassador for the White House if Kamala Harris becomes president in November, sources said. New York Post, Britain is seen as the first choice for her diplomatic ambitions.
“Chelsea really wants to be British ambassador,” a Clinton source said. Quote The outlet reported, “There’s a reason Bill and Hillary endorsed Kamala for president within the first five minutes: They were trying to garner support.”
A source said the Clintons have “been working on this for a long time” and are hopeful that she will be accepted into St James’s Court.
The 44-year-old former first lady, who is vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, is also seeking a posting across the English Channel to neighboring France, the sources said.

“You can imagine that the British ambassadorial role would be a coveted one for Chelsea – she’s still junior, but London is typically the seat of big donors and fundraisers,” said a long-time British embassy official now based in London. post.
A Clinton source said Chelsy’s British dreams were “a pipe dream, of course.”
Another person noted that Chelsea would be open to becoming a goodwill ambassador for other countries, adding: “We’ve heard for a long time that Chelsea wants to be a goodwill ambassador.”
Chelsea, who is vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, previously lived in the UK while studying at Oxford University.

History has documented that such high-profile roles usually go to people with more experience.
Jane Hartley, a 74-year-old businesswoman, has been offered the role of British ambassador from 2022 after former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg reportedly stepped down, The Independent reported. Note.
Hartley also served as ambassador to France and Monaco during the Obama administration and was a major Democratic campaign fundraiser, reportedly helping raise $500,000 for Obama.
