Newcastle arrived at Stamford Bridge on the evening of 2 May 2012 having not won a league match there since 1986. They left with a famous three points, made all the sweeter by the nature of the winning goals. I’m not sure I’ve seen a better double strike by a single player than the two goals Papise Cissé scored that night.

The second goal is arguably one of the greatest ever scored in the Premier League. Cissé means it, absolutely no doubt. This isn’t a lucky pop, but rather a calculated, audacious wonderstrike that almost defies logic to beat Prime Petr Cech. And the quality of the second strike rather overshadows the first, which is a brilliant goal in its own right: instinctive and powerful.

It was a vintage Newcastle team, full of both talent and cult heroes. Hatem Ben Arfa, Jonás Manuel Gutiérrez, Fabricio Coloccini, Demba Ba, Shola Ameobi – led by none other than Alan ‘Hips’ Pardew – comfortably beat a Chelsea side that would, just over two weeks later, go on to win the Champions League. Newcastle haven’t won at Stamford Bridge since. Their Premier League record at the Bridge looks like: played 28, lost 20, drew seven and won one.

Let’s see if Newcastle can improve that desperate record tonight. They won’t have a much better opportunity, against this rather dispirited and depleted Chelsea side.

2 minutes: Newcastle put pressure on Cucurella in the early stages. That’s clearly what triggers their coverage. Let’s see how the Spaniard copes in the next few minutes.

Mauricio Pochettino told Sky cameras:

“both [Gallagher and Cucurella] He played against Brentford and had a good week.It is important to start with him [Cucurella] Because he’s okay.Conor Gallagher is in good condition [after struggling with illness] That’s why they’re ready to play. ”

Adam Sandler will be at Stamford Bridge tonight, sit in a luxurious seat. He is said to be the highest paid actor in Hollywood.

This is worth a read, Although that’s a pretty stingy move.

“G’Day Michael” Email Chris Paraskevas from Australia. “I’ve just seen footage of players and staff entering Stamford Bridge: neon lights, aggressively auto-tuned ‘RnB’ music, hordes of enthusiastic teenagers and one person queuing. The guy was too young to be allowed in (Louis Miley)… It all takes me back to the “heyday” of clubbing in my early to mid-twenties. Just to be clear, a night of ‘clubbing’ usually means finding a convenient excuse to leave early and watch Newcastle humiliate themselves at 2am. I missed out on meeting a lot of potential girlfriends and would probably be in an (unhappy) marriage by now, but I saw Cisse’s double live and that’s what’s important in life. . ”

Sports are a very good addition to our lives. Sports memories of playing or watching something can bring up a lot of other little hidden gems that are locked away in our heads. I’m glad that neon helped you, Chris.

Let’s take a closer look at these teams..

For Chelsea:

Chalova preferred center back to Thiago Silva. I also don’t know if the Brazilian will like playing against Isak. Cucurella will be making his first start since December. He hasn’t started in a league win since October. Sterling is rated higher than Mudriku, Madueke and Chukwuemeka. Chelsea appear to be lined up in a 4-2-3-1.

For Newcastle:

Willock will start ahead of Miley, but other than that it’s a pretty strong and stable team. There are certainly plenty of injuries – Joelinton, Nick Pope, Callum Wilson and captain Kieran Trippier are all unavailable, and Lewis Hall is unavailable to play against his parent club – but he has just left Chelsea in 2021. We have some good reserve players as well, including Tino Libramento. He’s a great player. What’s interesting is the threat of not having a single offensive player on the bench. Jacob Murphy can run around a bit on the wing, but there’s no obvious player who can change the game.

The second goal is probably one of the best goals in Premier League history. There’s no doubt that Cissé means it. This is not a lucky pop, but rather a calculated and daring wonder strike that barely defies logic in order for Petr in his prime to defeat Cech. And the quality of the second attack rather overshadows the first, which is instinctive and powerful and a great goal in itself.

It was a classic Newcastle team, full of both talent and cult heroes. Hatem Ben Arfa, Honas Manuel Gutierrez, Fabricio Coloccini, Demba Ba and Shola Ameobi – led by none other than Alan Hipps Pardew – will win the Champions League in just two weeks’ time. They had an easy victory over the Chelsea team. Newcastle have not won at Stamford Bridge since then. His Premier League results at Bridge are as follows: 28 appearances, 20 losses, 7 draws, 1 win.

Let’s see if Newcastle can improve on that forlorn record tonight. There would be no better chance against Chelsea, who were very dejected and exhausted.

kick off: 8pm GMT
