Someone certainly hasn’t let go of their grudge against Caitlin Clark.
Just hours before the WNBA All-Stars took on Team USA Women’s Basketball in the WNBA All-Star Game, Chennedy Carter, who gained internet notoriety a few months ago for her gratuitous and vile attack on Kaitlyn Clark, made the remark that she was “only after Barbie,” implicitly criticizing the rookie phenom.

The post was captioned by Angel Reese, a Chicago Sky teammate and rival of Caitlin Clark, who said Carter, who was not selected as an All-Star, should have been selected.

For those who need a reminder who Chennedi Carter is, she’s the player who surprised Caitlin Clark and slammed her to the ground last month.

Carter was assessed a Flagrant 1 for the hit, and after the game, player Caitlin Clark called the incident “not a basketball play.”
She added: “But you have to fight through it and play. That’s basketball at this level.”
Carter did not apologize for the incident, but Clark stressed that no apology was necessary.
“People are competitive,” she said. “That’s the way it is, and she’s had a great season. In my eyes, she’s played great basketball. She probably deserves to be No. 1 for player of the year. There’s no grudges. There’s nothing like that. It’s a sport, and there’s competitiveness. And it’s not always a good thing.”
More than a month later, Chennedy Carter is still behaving badly.
