Cheryl Cole Appointed Administrator of Liam Payne’s $32 Million Estate

Cheryl Cole Appointed Manager of Liam Payne’s Estate

Cheryl Cole, the former partner of the late Liam Payne and the mother of his son, has officially been appointed as the manager of his estate, valued at approximately $32.2 million. This follows Payne’s tragic passing without leaving a will.

As stated in court documents from May 1, British singer and attorney Richard Mark Bray is overseeing the estate belonging to the former One Direction member. Payne, who shared an 8-year-old son named Bear with Cole, passed away at just 31 after a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

Reports indicate that Payne’s properties in the UK are worth around $38 million in total, with his overall net worth estimated at $32.2 million. Under British law, when someone dies intestate (without a will), their property typically goes to their child or legal spouse. Both Cheryl and Bray are authorized to manage these assets, though distribution is currently limited.

The shocking news of Payne’s death on October 16, 2024, stirred reactions in the music world. Authorities reported he suffered a fatal head injury from the fall, with a partial autopsy revealing the presence of various drugs in his system, including substances found in his hotel room like crack cocaine and “pink cocaine.” Interestingly, there was CCTV footage that captured him shortly before his untimely death.

In the wake of this tragedy, Cheryl expressed heartfelt sentiments, encouraging the public to remember Payne for more than just his celebrity status. She referred to him as a son, brother, uncle, and a father, seeking compassion during what she described as an “inexplainable time.”

Additionally, Kate Cassidy, Payne’s girlfriend at the time, shared her sorrow, revealing the emotional struggles he faced leading up to his death.

Payne was laid to rest during a private funeral held on November 20, attended by his former bandmates, including Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Neil Hollan.
