Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Chet Walker has died at the age of 84, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted Saturday.
The seven-time All-Star and Chicago Bulls Ring of Honor member played 13 seasons in the NBA, winning an NBA championship with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1967.
The 6-foot-7 forward was a two-time All-American for the Bradley Braves and was the school’s all-time leading scorer when he graduated in 1962.
His 1,975 career points currently rank him fourth on the Braves’ all-time scoring list, and he also leads the school in career double-doubles with 54.
He played for the Syracuse Nationals as a 22-year-old rookie in the 1962-63 season before the team relocated the following season and became the Philadelphia 76ers.

Walker, a 2012 Hall of Fame inductee, played six seasons with the 76ers (1963-1969) and six with the Bulls (1969-1975).
He recorded 18,831 points and 7,314 rebounds in 1,032 career games, averaging 18.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
