Chicago’s famous veterinarian Distribution costs He was suspected of child pornography, and federal authorities said he planned to sexually abuse the baby he and his husband were planning to obtain through surrogacy.
Federal charges were filed Thursday against veterinary ophthalmologist Adam Stafford King, 39, of Elburn, and were unsealed Monday.
Investigators said they learned of King through a child pornography investigation in New York. They allege King sent videos of child pornography to a person in New York after they chatted on the messaging app Telegram.
King is said to have communicated with him using the nickname “@pervichiguy.”
Investigators said King admitted during a conversation with the suspect that he was attracted to children under the age of 10. He allegedly sent videos of an adult man sexually assaulting children.
King also allegedly admitted to drugging his nieces and nephews with the intent of sexually assaulting them.
“I usually use Benadryl,” he is accused of writing. “I usually take twice as much as an adult.”
Investigators said King and her husband had talked about a plan to sexually abuse the baby they were planning to carry via surrogate. He sent the person in New York a photo of the clothes he bought for the baby and an ultrasound image of the fetus.
“I love the idea of having a friend over when my son is born, but obviously it has to be someone I trust,” he allegedly wrote.
King was well known in the dog show community and was accepted to be a judge by the American Kennel Club. He has since announced that his jury privileges have been revoked.
He was charged with one count of knowingly distributing child pornography.The judge on Tuesday Refusal of bail The man said he was a “serious danger to children” before saying: It is unclear whether he will face other charges in connection with the investigation or whether the surrogate adoption will move forward.
Before King was arrested, the FBI said he was about a week away from traveling to California to attend the birth of a child he allegedly planned to sexually abuse.
