Chicago White Sox Plan To Slash Their Payroll In 2025 Which Could Lead To Even Darker Times: REPORT

Ahh…it’s a tough time on the South Side.

Only time will tell if the 2024 Chicago White Sox will break their losing season record, but one thing is for sure: they are total garbage and their franchise is in shambles. Considering baseball's total payroll is at an all-time high, with the New York Mets in first place at a whopping $317.7 million and the New York Yankees in second place at over $300 million, this is a pretty dire situation for the Chicago White Sox.

But there is a way around this: Athletics/Rays/Marlins-style Moneyball. How well the White Sox can pull it off, well, that's another story.
