Rejected lovers also celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most unconventional way.

At a Chicago-area zoo, you can pay to name a cockroach after someone not special in your life.

For a $15 donation to Brookfield Zoo, those who wish can name a hissing cockroach from Madagascar after an ex-lover or the person they hate the most.

Donors will receive a naming certificate that they can fill out and share or hang on their wall to remember the cockroach. The first name submitted by February 5th at 5pm will be posted to the Hamill Family Play Zoo’s Cockroach Naming Committee.

Only the first name will be published, but customers can write a personal note on the certificate they receive with their donation receipt. The board will be announced on February 14th.
