Details have emerged from last week’s domestic assault arrest in which Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justin Ross was arrested for allegedly shoving his girlfriend and destroying her cell phone, car keys and other items. According to reports, Ross was arrested by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department around 3 p.m. on October 23 after a woman reported that he was “dragging her inside and demolishing her home.” The suspect pleaded not guilty and was released on October 24th.

Ross admitted to police that after discovering the woman was cheating on him, he threw her things out the door of Shawnee’s house and destroyed the computer he claimed was his.
TMZ reports: “Two neighbors say they saw Ross push a woman and ‘put a knife’ at her car.”
According to court documents, Ross was charged with “one count of domestic assault with no prior record and one count of criminal damage under $1,000.” He is scheduled to appear in court again on December 4th.
The wide receiver was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list and was not allowed to participate in practices or games.
