Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy arrested, charged with assault

Chiefs star Xavier Worthy was reportedly arrested on assault Friday night.

Just four weeks after finishing off an impressive rookie season with two Super Bowl 59 touchdowns, Vale was posing for a mug shot after being charged with assault on a family member or household member by blocking the cycle, prison records show.

Houston's Fox26 first reported the news.

The arrest occurred in Williamson County, Texas.

The 21-year-old is from California, but starred in Texas before becoming the Chiefs' first round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Four players were arrested last season for the Chiefs. This included a strong rookie season and another receiver coming out of the Super Bowl. Laci Rice was arrested once for assault (the charges were dropped) and once for her role in a high-speed car accident that caused damage to five vehicles.
