On Thursday, authorities announced the arrest of a Chinese national who attempted to break into President-elect Trump's Mar-a-Lago Florida mansion multiple times in the past few months.
It was one of multiple attempts by Gigi Li, 39, to break into a Palm Beach club to speak with President Trump, according to an arrest affidavit.
He faces a second trespassing charge after receiving a warning, in addition to the pending charges he received in July. He is being held at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center on $100,000 bail, according to jail records.

“Palm Beach police, in conversations with the U.S. Secret Service, have confirmed that a new case with Mr. Lee has increased due to increased attempts by Mr. Lee to enter Mar-a-Lago to contact the president-elect. “We believe there is a possibility that “enforcement needs to be stepped up,'' the officer said in the affidavit.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the Palm Beach Police Department. The Secret Service referred questions to police.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Lee first attempted to enter Mar-a-Lago on July 19, six days after the first assassination attempt on Trump. Security has been beefed up around the club following an attack on Trump's life during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Lee allegedly entered Mar-a-Lago through the main entrance and was stopped by the Secret Service.

He told Secret Service officials that he had information implicating China in the initial assassination plot against President Trump and wanted to preserve the documents.
Local police issued him with a trespassing warning. Trump was not at home at the time, in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention.
According to the affidavit, Lee visited Palm Beach at least four more times after the incident and drove to the northern checkpoint, but did not attempt to enter Mar-a-Lago. According to the arrest report, on July 22, town security camera footage showed him driving east on the Royal Park Bridge twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, then again driving west. did.
Trump was at Mar-a-Lago that day after returning from Wisconsin. On July 30, Mr. Lee was loading Mr. Trump's documents into his car in Palm Beach.
The next day, Lee was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago. As a condition of bond, Lee was ordered to remain 500 feet away from the club.
According to police, on October 30, Lee asked residents living near the club to help him enter the club. According to authorities, Lee asked the residents if they were members of Mar-a-Lago and if they could drive them to the property.

Residents called police and identified Lee. He had been “acting Baker” for about a week. Florida's Baker Act allows temporary detention for mental health reasons.
Lee was released Thursday and returned to Mar-a-Lago around 5 p.m. before his arrest. An assistant state attorney told WPTV that Lee was in the U.S. on a student visa from California.
