Myles Garrett’s evening just became even more exciting with a special moment on stage.
The Rams defensive end took home the ESPY Award for Best Record-Breaking Performance at Lincoln Center in New York.
In addition to the award, he was surprised when his girlfriend, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, joined him on stage to present the trophy and give him a kiss.
“Thank you for keeping a secret like that, because you definitely knew,” Garrett expressed, acknowledging Kim as he celebrated his win. “More than anything, this is an honor. I have a lot to catch up on with this woman behind me.”
Garrett earned the award after breaking an NFL record with 23 sacks in a single season for the Browns in 2025, besting competitors like UCLA softball player Megan Grant and gold medalist cross-country skier Johannes Khosfrot Kleibo.
Before the ceremony, the couple posed for photos on the red carpet; Garrett opted for a casual white shirt and black pants, while Kim chose a striking red dress.
Kim herself has taken home five ESPY Awards and previously achieved the title of Best Female Action Sports Athlete three times in a row.
After his intense football season, Garrett made a trip to Italy to support Kim during the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she secured a silver medal in the halfpipe despite battling a torn labrum in her left shoulder just weeks earlier.
Looking ahead, Garrett is set to start a new chapter, having been traded to the Rams in a major deal last June.
“It’s about winning every time from the beginning, and it all comes down to timing,” he reflected during his introductory press conference. “What does it realistically look like to be a winner now and have that opportunity right away?”
“It was an opportunity too difficult to pass up.”
