Chris Cuomo Criticizes Musk, Claims He Wouldn't Be 'Surprised' If He Were 'Killed' After Kirk Assassination

Cuomo Critiques Musk After Kirk’s Shooting

Chris Cuomo, host of News Nation, took aim at X CEO Elon Musk during his recent show, following the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. Musk stirred controversy by tweeting that “The Left is the Murder Party” shortly after Kirk was shot while speaking to a crowd at Utah Valley University.

Cuomo emphasized that Musk’s statements reflected a troubling lack of morality, particularly regarding the destructive impact of social media. He mentioned that he wouldn’t be shocked if something happened to Musk, expressing a somewhat bleak perspective on current times. “You know, it’s just the world we live in,” he said.

Cuomo didn’t hold back in his criticism, describing Musk as “the stupidest genius I’ve ever encountered.” He dismissed the idea of making excuses for Musk’s controversial actions, even acknowledging the presence of autistic individuals in his life who behave differently. “I honestly don’t care. In my view, he’s run out of usefulness,” Cuomo remarked.

While Cuomo clarified he doesn’t believe that Musk should be harmed, he reiterated that he wouldn’t be surprised if something occurred. “That’s just the reality,” he noted.

In response, Musk took to X the following morning, asserting, “Cuomo is exactly what I’m talking about by suggesting I could be killed by the radical left!”

Musk has previously shared concerns about potential violence stemming from media narratives. During a February appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” he mentioned feeling targeted and described the numerous threats he received while managing the Office of Government Efficiency under President Trump.

Musk commented that he feels like a top target for those with violent intentions, drawing parallels to how former President Trump was perceived by certain groups. The discussion around him has also revealed alarming statistics from a recent report indicating a significant portion of individuals believe violence against him or Trump could be justified.
