Chris Kreider skates way into Team USA 4 Nations finale lineup

BOSTON – Chris Cryder has made its way into Team USA's Championship lineup.

The longest decorated rangers skated and skated in the US matchup against Canada for the 4 Nations showdown trophy at TD Garden on Thursday night.

US head coach Mike Sullivan praised Claider after making his tournament debut with Sweden.

It was clear that the 33-year-old made an impression.

“That's certainly true,” Sullivan said when asked if Kreider suits the style his team wants to play. “He's a big, strong kid who can play physical games. I expect it to be a physical game. Both teams play similar styles. Both North and South teams are Plays with a lot of speed and a lot of physicality.

“I think his game, Clyde, definitely fits that.”

Kreider skated on the fourth line with New York teammate Vincent Trocheck and islander Brock Nelson.
