Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama disqualified for bending the rules at NBA Skills Challenge

On Saturday nights at the NBA All-Star Game, I saw something I didn't see every day. Chris Paul and Victor Wenbanyama have been disqualified from the Skills Competition.

San Antonio Spars My teammates were taking part in the first part of the NBA Skills Challenge, the team relay. Rather than trying to hit a shot during the relay, both Paul and Wenbanyama simply threw a shot from the spot towards the baseline to get through the course as quickly as possible.

You can see their attempts to exploit the loophole here:

We can see both of Wenbanyama first, and then Paul simply flips each of his “shot” attempts from the spot, rather than trying to make each one.

reason? The rules have been changed this season to allow three attempts from each shooting spot. This was done to keep the competition moving rather than waiting for players to take a shot from the maker for more than 30 seconds before taking a shot.

But it opened the door for someone to try out creative ways to get through the course as quickly as possible. Please enter Paul and Wenbanyama.

As the announcer stated, “This has Chris Paul's fingerprints.”

As both Paulo and Wenbanyama proceeded through the course, the booing began to rain from the crowd.

Eventually, the league stepped into the duo despite Paul's protests and lost its disqualification.

Additionally, Allie Laforce attempted to interview the pair, but was rejected.

An incredible NBA All-Star scene on Saturday night.
