Chris Pratt’s Support for RFK Jr.

Actor Chris Pratt recently expressed his admiration for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., calling him “great” and supporting his efforts to “make America healthy again.” During an appearance on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast, Pratt, who is married to Catherine Schwarzenegger—related to the Kennedy family—shared his experiences of spending time with RFK Jr.

“I hung out with him a lot. It felt like a family dinner atmosphere, and I really connected with him,” Pratt mentioned. “I think he’s funny and genuinely great. I really like him.”

While he emphasized that their relationship is family-oriented, not politically focused, Pratt did voice his hopes for Kennedy’s success in addressing bipartisan issues. “I hope he tackles issues like removing harmful substances from kids’ food—something he seems to have bipartisan support for,” Pratt added.

He expressed some frustration with the political climate, saying, “I hate feeling animosity towards the president, so I really wish him well.” Even though Pratt didn’t officially endorse Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, he remains optimistic about its potential for success.

“Look, it’s all about being reasonable. There are good things going on, and I just want everyone to succeed,” he said. Maher echoed Pratt’s sentiments, highlighting that while he might not agree with everything, they share a common goal of prioritizing health. “It can be toxic to make us sick; I love him,” Maher remarked.

Maher also encouraged Kennedy to blend his current role with his background as an environmental lawyer. He praised RFK Jr. for his unwavering principles and commitment to his beliefs. “He’s not crazy. When he stands by something, it’s not swayed by pressure or bribes—good or bad,” he stated.

RFK Jr. was sworn in as Secretary of Health and Human Services on February 13, 2025, after a nomination by President Trump. Shortly after taking office, he launched the “Re-Every American Health” committee. This initiative focuses on fitness, food reform, and chronic disease prevention, having already reintroduced fitness tests for public school children and mandated the FDA to phase out certain food dyes by 2026.
