Chris Pratt Shares His Essentials in Playful Instagram Post
Actor Chris Pratt recently took to Instagram to humorously highlight the essentials in his life, which include some light-hearted nods to his faith. In his post, he affectionately acknowledged his hair, makeup, and wardrobe team, calling them his “Glam team,” and mentioned the things he can’t live without, which amusingly included Jesus.
The 46-year-old star, known for his charming wit, acknowledged that his core essentials comprise oxygen, organs, blood, gravity, food, water, his family, NFL, fishing, and of course, his glam team. He playfully emphasized, “It’s just a must.” Following that, he quickly added, “Family first, always. Don’t overthink fun posts!”
Pratt is vocal about his Christian faith, which sets him apart in the Hollywood scene. Earlier this year, he noted in an interview that he feels a strong calling to be “the city on the hill” at this stage in his life, referencing Matthew 5:14. He expressed that being in the entertainment industry involves risks, especially when discussing divisive topics like religion and politics. Still, he’s committed to his faith, saying it’s worth any cost, even financial loss.
As a father of four, he hopes to instill in his children a sense of pride in their faith and an understanding of prayer, grace, and love. “It’s really important to me,” he added, touching on how he wants his kids to recognize the joy of a relationship with Jesus.
Interestingly, he noted that while many might already know about his beliefs, it’s interesting that it’s becoming more public knowledge as he shares. “I’m not going to hide behind it,” he asserted, stressing the importance of sharing one’s faith openly.
