Chris Pratt’s Stunt Double Cause of Death Revealed

The cause of Hollywood stuntman Tony McFarr’s death has been revealed, three months after he was found dead at his Orlando, Florida home.

McPherr, who was found dead in his home on May 13, had filled in for such big stars as Chris Pratt, Brendan Fraser and Jon Hamm. Jurassic World and its sequels Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdomand passengerand Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.

According to the Orange County coroner, Revealed TMZ reported that the Hollywood stuntman died from an irregular heartbeat that was exacerbated by complications from a heavy drinking habit.

According to the coroner, the 47-year-old stuntman showed signs of alcohol intoxication and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and had significant alcohol in his system at the time of his death, with a blood alcohol content of 0.29 percent (though the driving limit in most states is just 0.08 percent).

McFarr’s death was reported on May 13, but by the time authorities discovered his body, it had already begun to decompose and he had been dead for several days, TMZ noted.

“I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of my friend and former stuntman. We worked together on several films, played golf, drank whiskey, smoked cigars and spent many hours on set. I will never forget his toughness.” Pratt wrote The post was made to Instagram on May 16th, after news of McFarr’s death was reported.

“I remember him taking a nasty bullet wound to the head (during the title scene of Guardians 2) and having a few staples in his head, but he was right back at work and ready to hit the ground running again. He was such a great guy. Always a gentleman and a professional,” Pratt added.

“He will be missed and my prayers go out to his friends and family, especially his daughter,” Pratt concluded.
