Chris Russo finally gets his Timothée Chalamet moment

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo’s persistence against Timothée Chalamet paid off.

The legendary radio host finally met the movie star on Tuesday at the European premiere of the Bob Dylan biopic Complete Unknown.

Russo has worked hard to get Chalamet to talk about Dylan's music on his podcast, and even tried to go through the actor's father to secure a conversation.

On Tuesday, Russo revealed on ESPN's “First Take” that he received a message from Chalamet inviting him to the London premiere.

The radio host ended up taking his daughter Keira to her birthday.

The pair posted a travel blog reel on their Instagram, showing Russo heading from the airport to a London hotel and then in a taxi to attend the premiere at the BFI Southbank.

Once there, they walked the red carpet and made several media appearances before filming the movie.

At some point, Russo ended up meeting the 29-year-old actor, who became popular in the sports world for his game-picking acumen on ESPN's “College Gameday” in December.

The only person who might not have been happy about the father-daughter bonding trip was Chris Russo's son Colin, who said he was sent home-sitting in Connecticut instead.

“I can't believe it. I felt like I had a flat tire…what a shame.” Colin Russo He spoke on ESPN's West Palm radio show.. “What a shame. All the features, all the trailers, all the news, articles about the movie release. Who sent it? Who forwarded it?

“Whose idea was it to be on First Take and cry on your knees to get Timothée Chalamet's attention? Colin Russo's idea.”
