Chris Wallace Stunned as Bill Maher Says Trump will Likely Win Election

CNN anchor Chris Wallace was surprised when comedian Bill Maher claimed on his little-watched Wallace Max podcast that Donald Trump has a good chance of winning the 2024 presidential election. Who is talking to Chris Wallace?.

During the podcast this week, Maher argued that Trump is running a closer and more serious campaign than he did in 2016.

Maher began by stating a conspiracy theory, already proven false once before, that if Donald Trump becomes president, he will “not leave office” and somehow declare himself a permanent president.
Wallace noted that Maher made the comment in 2016, the year Trump first ran for president.

“I said that before he was first elected. I kept saying there’s a slow-moving coup happening. It’s happening, it’s going to happen, we’re seeing it, we’re at that stage,” Maher acknowledged.

“We continue down this path and people on the right find themselves creating this idea that he’s just a clown and he just says crazy things,” Maher continued. “You know, he says stuff all the time and they don’t take it seriously because he’s not serious. And that’s the problem we have. And he’s campaigning a lot more seriously this time around.”

Maher also floated a second conspiracy theory that Trump would still attend the inauguration even if he loses in November.

“On January 20, 2025, he will show up on Inauguration Day, win or lose, because he will claim he won. I can predict that with absolute certainty. As I have said for many years, he will never concede an election, and he will not concede this election,” Maher said.

Wallace pointed out that the comedian has already said this himself. Club Random The podcast reported that Trump is likely to win in November.

“I think he just cares about power. He just wants power back. He’s a guy who will likely be president again,” Maher said of Trump and his possible election victory.

Wallace was shocked by Maher’s prediction and said, “You think so?”

“I think the answer is probably yes,” Maher added. “I mean, he’s definitely winning right now. And Biden doesn’t seem like a very good candidate.”

Mr Maher also admitted that he had recently become much more critical of his own party because its ideas had become “stupid”.

“I haven’t changed my attitude,” he said of the recent rise in criticism of the left. “Yes, people have told me, you’re making more fun of the left than before, that’s sinful. I’ve changed because the left has changed.”

“No, you know that. I’m not getting old, you’re just getting stupid. I get it. Common sense is common sense and I’m going to condemn it, whatever it is,” he added.
