Christie Brinkley-linked skincare brand files for bankruptcy

SBLA Beauty, a skincare brand linked to Christie Brinkley – sells so-called “scientific” anti-aging products – filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The award-winning brand is perhaps best known for its non-invasive eyelift cane and neck, Chin & Jawline Sculpting Wand. Brinkley called out one of her best skincare secrets.

Brand owner SBLA Inc. filed for bankruptcy in the Southern Florida region on Tuesday.

According to the filing, the Boca Raton, Florida-based skincare company has between $1 million and $10 million in debt.

“SBLA Beauty is consistently maintained and will remain a widely successful brand in favor of loyal consumers,” founder Randi Shinder posted in a statement. “This is a restructuring and restructuring to ensure profitability.”

SBLA products continue to be available on our website and on Amazon.

The brand, launched in 2018, claims that cane serum dissolves fat and produce millions of new skin cells overnight without injection.

Supermodel Brinkley partnered with the brand in 2021 and said at the time, “I've seen such improvements, but I can't even tell you.”

“My jaw was on the floor when I saw what I did for me!” she spoke about the SBLA anti-aging wand in an Instagram video in 2021.

Brinkley has not partnered with the brand for quite some time, representative I told the Daily Mail. The model's agent declined to comment.

Cinder, a veterinarian in the beauty industry, founded SBLA Beauty “to provide products based on science and technology,” and shoppers “feel the best feeling without invasive procedures, pain or downtime.” SBLA Website Statement.

Shinder launched her first company, Clean in 2022. It owns the popular fragrance brand Clean Reserve.

She partnered with singer Jessica Simpson on the brand's Dessert Beauty.

Cinder got her start in clinical skincare with Lipfusion, an early lip plumper that sold 3.2 million units at Sephora in the first nine months, according to her website.

She sold most of Fusion Beauty Brand equity in 2006 and left the company altogether in 2009.
