As temperatures drop this winter, some Christmas movies are warming up the mood.
The holiday genre is on fire across several streaming services this season, including “The Merry Gentlemen” starring Chad Michael Murray, “Hot Frosty” starring Lacey Chabert, and Lifetime's “A Carpenter Christmas Romance.” Ta.
Here are some movies that caught our attention this cold season.
'Merry Gentlemen' star Chad Michael Murray 'puts God and family first' to avoid 'bad situations'

“Joyful Gentlemen”
One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray reminded fans he's still a Hollywood heartthrob with his latest Christmas role as Luke in Merry Gentlemen .
Murray, 43, stepped out of his comfort zone with his recent role in the Netflix film, showing off his abs and dancing skills in the romantic comedy.

“Merry Gentlemen” focuses on the story of a Broadway dancer who creates an all-male Christmas-themed revue to save the small-town bar run by his parents. According to the film's description, Murray stars as a man who “makes all the right moves.”
Regarding his simple role, Murray said his wife of 10 years, actress Sarah Romer, was “very supportive” of him being half-naked in the film.

“She was really supportive, really supportive. She was like, 'I'm worried. What are you making?'
“We really walk a fine line when you make a movie like this, but if you go too far, it's a completely different movie, right? And if you don't go far enough, it's not interesting. I I think they really crossed the line.'' Murray told FOX News Digital.

“So I'm very proud of the movies that we can use in the background, and I don't feel like it's wrong. You know what I mean? We did a great job. I can tell you… it's fun and it feels good. So when my wife saw it. [it]she's like, “Oh, you guys nailed it.” [it]nailed it. '”
He previously spoke to Fox News Digital about the importance of prioritizing God and keeping his family intact. The couple have three children.

“We put God and family first. That's what we do in this family. So if it means I don't go live, I don't go live. I don't participate. It's that simple. …If I have to turn around, I'll change course,” he explained. “At the end of the day, all this is worth nothing if you can’t celebrate with your family.”
“Hot Frosty”
Lacey Chabert wanted her fans to avoid the winter blues this holiday season with her Netflix movie Hot Frosty.

Sparks fly between actors Sasha Pieterse and Mitchell Slaggert in Lifetime's holiday movie A Carpenter's Christmas Romance.
Peters plays Andrea, a novelist who escapes to her family's farm during the holidays to find inspiration to complete her novel.

Things heat up even more when she unexpectedly reunites with her ex-boyfriend, a toned artisan woodworker, who is about to rekindle the fire between them.
The drama unfolds as the characters wonder whether their romance is just a holiday moment or whether they can forge a love that will last throughout the seasons.
Peters shared on Instagram She said, “I had the best time filming this.”
The “Pretty Little Liars” star continued, “To the amazing crew and cast who endured 100+ degree heat, fires, haunted farmhouses, long drives and more. I love you!! !!” he thanked.
Slaggert seemed to agree, writing on Instagram that filming the movie was “a truly memorable experience!”
“Everyone on set was phenomenal human beings. They were characters in their own way,” the “Landman” actor added. “I looked forward to being on set every day. It was fun every day! I made so many great memories.”
