Christopher Meloni backs Jalen Brunson's guest role on 'SVU'

Jalen Brunson’s Acting Aspirations Persist

Jalen Brunson, the standout player for the Knicks, shared a light-hearted moment after showcasing an MVP-caliber performance in the NBA Finals. He humorously mentioned his dream of landing a guest star role on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” starring alongside Mariska Hargitay.

Interestingly, Hargitay isn’t the only one rooting for Brunson’s acting ambitions. Christopher Meloni, who plays Detective Elliot Stabler on the show, has also voiced his support. He confidently stated to TMZ that he fully backs the idea of Brunson joining the cast.

“You may have heard, he’s a world champion. He can do whatever he likes,” Meloni remarked.

Hargitay was in attendance to cheer on the Knicks during their championship game, a moment marking their first title win since 1973. Her friendship with Brunson, who is clearly a big fan of the show, has grown closer over time.

Brunson has openly expressed his admiration for Hargitay, noting that he often looks for her in the stands during home games. In a previous interview, he affectionately said, “I love her to death,” which Hargitay is well aware of.

The pair shared an emotional embrace after the Knicks made an impressive comeback in Game 4 against San Antonio, with Hargitay exclaiming, “I love you so much, I’m so happy!”

Just a few days later, as excitement filled the air, Hargitay and countless other Knicks fans celebrated the team’s championship victory. New York made a remarkable comeback in Game 5, clinching a 94-90 win against San Antonio.

Brunson capped off his series with an outstanding performance, scoring 45 points in a tightly contested game. His remarkable achievements have undeniably etched his name into New York sports history, but who knows? A guest role on “SVU” might just elevate his stardom even further.
