From small congregations to megachurches, churches across the United States saw record Easter attendance on Sunday. The report, although anecdotes, suggests a national trend that many pastors believe to show a stirring of resurrection.
Josh Howherton, a senior pastor at Lake Point Church in Florida, said that fellow pastors across the country saw a record crowd on Sunday.

Hours later, after hearing a record-breaking crow report, Howerton said, “I dared to say that this could be more than a ‘shift in atmosphere.’ Tectonic plate shift. ”
Lake Point Church, a multisite congregation, reported 3,146 first decisions to Christ from the Easter Service.

Jack Graham, pastor of Preston Wood Baptist Church in Dallas, posted a video of a packed service in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, saying he was watching signs of a spiritual awakening in America.
“I’ve seen reports like this from all over the United States…it’s more than the usual high attendance at Easter…we’re watching the fire of resurrection burning, and at the tip of spiritual awakening,” Graham writes. “In particular, young men are experiencing hunger for God… it’s the created Jesus movement.”
