Chynna Phillips says marriage to Billy Baldwin has been a ‘real struggle’

Chynna Phillips has revealed that she and her husband Billy Baldwin have been “separated for six months” after devoting their lives to Christianity.

“Billy and I have been together for 32 years and we have a great marriage, but the last few years have definitely been the toughest years of our marriage. It's been a real struggle,” she says. Shared in a video posted to her YouTube channel Saturday.

“I think it was because I had just really delved into Jesus, and I don’t think he had any idea what to do with it, because in a way it was always about Jesus. .”

Phillips, who married Baldwin in 1995, declined to say when she and Baldwin broke up, but said they had been separated for six months.

The musician previously filed for divorce from Baldwin, 60, in March 2010, but withdrew the divorce papers days later.

She also explained that she is having trouble building a bond with her husband over their interests.

“Sometimes he says, 'You're not interested in the things I'm into.' You're not interested in politics, you're not interested in wrestling, you're not interested in the charity work that I'm doing. ,” the “Hold On” songwriter said.

“We've done some things together, which have been great and very fulfilling. But we've never really found anything that we both really understand and can do together as a team.” she continued.

“So I'm praying that in 2024, we can find one thing that we can both do together that feels really fulfilling.”

The 55-year-old, who has three children with Baldwin, insisted she has “changed” and “grown” since she met the “Fair Game” star in her early 20s.

“I refuse to live the same marriage as I did 30 years ago because I'm not the same person I was 30 years ago. It's time for us to mature and grow,” she added.

A representative for Baldwin did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
