cannot be repeated what will you do Without the great Claudia Jordan. The Fox Soul host has been on this iconic game show since the first episode, so there was no one better suited to choose his alumnus Briefcase His Girl for the spot. Deal or No Deal Island. Hosted by Joe Manganiello and executive produced by Howie Mandel, this new vehicle has an engaging format. what will you do you love together survivor– Like challenges and living conditions. This is the contract. Thirteen players, including Jordan and fellow celebrity contestant Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, will be sent to Bankers Island to endure grueling physical challenges and more for a chance to win the Bankers’ prized briefcase. Bet and compete. The competition is fiercer than ever, as the total prize pool could reach he $200 million.
Before attending the show, Jordan admitted that he was “excited and scared at the same time.” Thankfully, Jordan quickly got over that nervousness. “He loves being able to take on challenges and accomplish things he didn’t think he could do,” Jordan confessed. “I just turned 50 last year, so I have a lot of things I want to check off my bucket list.” Luckily for fans of the reality show, Island of agreement or no agreement Checks a lot of boxes for Jordan. “This experience is something I will always be grateful for,” Jordan admitted.
What Jordan didn’t expect was for her fellow contestants to do something “shady” so early on. “Some people chose the jugular vein a little earlier to my liking,” Jordan explained. Jordan was shocked by contestant Kim Matina’s decision to defeat Blindside contestant Jamil Sipes after winning a high stakes match against Banker in episode two. “I remember Kim putting her hand on his back,” Jordan recalled. “It gave me this eerie feeling, like a witch had cast a spell on someone.” Kim’s relentless game moves and manipulations put her on Jordan’s radar. “Listen, I’ve been in some B-movies. I know bad acting because I’ve done it myself,” Jordan said simply.
Jordan stopped by Page Six Studios to discuss his return with DECIDER. what will you do The franchise, Joe Manganiello’s hosting skills, and why this “humble” experience had a positive impact on her.
Decider: What was it like going back? what will you do Franchising after all these years?
Claudia Jordan: It was a little nostalgic. what will you do This is one of my favorite things I’ve ever booked.I feel that I am protecting the what will you do brand. I was disgusted with this show when it was in the pilot.I’m glad I was included in it too. Deal or No Deal Island. In fact, I would have been really mad if I hadn’t. [laughs]. I love games.I have nothing negative to say what will you do. I liked it.
What was it like being in charge of the number one project?
Keeping case number one felt like it was meant to be, especially since I’d been on the show since day one. That meant a lot to me.And I had bragging rights [laughs] Being the number 1 girl.

Deal or No Deal Island It’s a mash-up of iconic game shows and reality competition shows like . survivor. Did this twist make you even more excited to become a player in the game?
I was excited but scared at the same time. I haven’t seen too many, but survivor is shown. I know that I need to be prepared to live by eating rice. “Am I too spoiled?” I wonder. But I love facing challenges and doing things I didn’t think I could do. I just turned 50 last year, so I have a lot of things I want to check off my bucket list.Being able to play what will you doTo be able to become. survivor type of environment, potentially winning millions of dollars — the show checked all the boxes. I was nervous, but I also felt happy and excited.
What was your first reaction when you found out Joe Manganiello was chosen to host? Deal or No Deal Island?
Well, Joe’s fine. If he’s going to be away from his friends and family, he might as well get some eye candy. He had his arms outstretched the entire time! I know he saw us all checking him out.
How was his hosting style different from Howie Mandel’s?
Howie is and will always be the GOAT. Howie is great and a big part of the show’s success. The way he leads people to the brink and launches into commercials? That’s amazing! But Joe also did a great job. He kept it fun. He was talking a little trash. He definitely moved the game.
Howie Mandel always greeted phone calls from bankers with the iconic “hello.”Joe Manganiello takes a call from a banker. Deal or No Deal Island “Yes?” How do you answer a phone call from a bank employee?
“What’s up? Bankers, what kind of money are we talking about? What are we doing?” Let’s get straight to the point. I’m not very formal, so I don’t need to go through any complicated procedures. How much money are we talking about? That’s what I want to know.
Let’s get into the premiere episode. When someone asked you what you did, you gave the most iconic answer. “Let me just say this: I work in the entertainment industry and I’m not a porn star.” Was downplaying her resume part of her strategy at first?
I actually believe that I am what will you do More on the model later. I didn’t want to come out of the gate with a background because I knew I had a target on my back. People will think I have an unfair advantage. So I wanted to be a little shy about it. However, some participants had already done a Google search and were trying to look up people before we turned in their phones. So ultimately I felt like I had to let everyone know that not only do I have a history of working on the show, but that I can be an asset and a help.i know that game what will you do Both inside and outside. I wanted to let them know that if they had me around, I could help them with their game.

Aaron wouldn’t have won the first time. what will you do Play the game without your advice. You have a really weird sixth sense. How did your instincts as a gamer develop over the course of the season?
what will you do Fans always ask me, “Do you know what’s inside the case?” The answer is absolutely not. There are lawyers and other people watching to make sure we never pry into the case. They are very strict about it. They didn’t play any games with us so we didn’t know what numbers were in the case. All I had was a hunch.meanwhile Deal or No Deal Island, Let’s look back at the hundreds of episodes in which he has appeared so far. For me, it was more about following where the big money numbers were during my playing days. what will you do. Plus, I’m a gambler.Anyone who knows me or was with me in Las Vegas knows that I have a modest gambling problem [laughs]. But when it comes to helping people win, it’s fine. Everything was good.
Speaking of gamblers, you’re not the only celebrity this season. survivor legend lob “Boston Rob” Mariano is also a big gambler. Did you know about his reputation beforehand?
I didn’t know anything about Boston Rob, but some of the contestants were very intimidated by him early on. There were some people trying to get me to not like Boston Rob and to turn against him. I wasn’t depressed about it. I don’t think his success elsewhere should have prevented him from winning here. What’s wrong with that? I also don’t think it’s appropriate to say, “You’re successful enough that you shouldn’t be here.” I think the smart thing to do is to keep the good players, build the pot, and go for the throat later. Some went for the jugular a little early for my liking. Why not keep someone around who would be an asset? Why go after Boston Rob?
Speak like a true strategist. Speaking of people who went home too soon, I want to talk about Jamil. It seemed like a really stupid game play to Kim to eliminate someone with so much game show experience. Did you know Kim had her eye on him from the beginning?
I didn’t know Kim was after Jamil. I remember Kim putting her hand on his back. It gave me an eerie feeling, as if a witch had cast a spell on someone. . I thought, “Wow, she’s really kind to her face.” But I felt like she was giving him death because it was her job to read people. To be honest, I was nervous because Jamil was one of the brightest members of the cast. He kept everyone’s energy up. He cheered everyone on.
He was a solid, good guy, and I didn’t like how he was portrayed as a mean person because he wasn’t. Just because he didn’t follow Mr. Kim’s plan doesn’t mean he’s a negative person to have around. I think he was unfairly targeted. My mission going forward is to get Kim off the show because of what he did to his friend Jamil. Everyone was sad about it, and no one was really happy for Kim. He didn’t deserve to go home.
The disrespect Kim gave you when she was what will you do My jaw dropped when I saw the game. Did that interaction change your future relationship with your girlfriend?
I started to feel like Kim was playing the role of a helpless old woman. She notices that people are crying but no tears come out. She calls it acting. Listen, I’ve been in some B-movies.I can see bad acting because I’ve done it myself. [laughs]. Take all that nonsense to Tubi. It’s all manipulation. Haven’t we all learned from what Kim did to Brantzen? She stabs people in her back even if she can be helped. I had no idea there was so much dialogue going on so early in the game.
I thought the betrayal would come a little later. Personally, I felt it was still early. There were still many matches to be played. Our priority should have been to build the board as a team to get as much funding as possible. A lot of people missed that part of the game because they wanted to see the moment on TV, but that’s what happens.

What has been the hardest for you? Emotional cheating or physical challenge?
NBC did a really great job and solved a physical challenge that I never expected. What kind of evil brain would come up with such a challenge? Who’s going to be in waist-deep mud on the first day of a show? But the toughest part of the match was the mental part. You are isolated from your friends and family. You must submit your cell phone and laptop. There is no contact with the outside world. You are literally in the jungle. Y
Our fellow contestants are your new friends and family. Like it or not, you have to face these people and you have to work with them. It was tough because I had just met these people. I didn’t know when they were lying or trying to trick me. They may have seen me, but I never saw them. It was hard to figure out who was who and what was what. I thought, “Well, here are some players. I can see your weird butts.”
What is the most surprising thing you learned about yourself through this process?
I haven’t made any secrets about my life outside of the show. I have a really comfortable life, but I’ve worked really hard in the business for about 30 years. It was a challenge to take all that away and get on even footing with everyone else. I wanted to see what I could do. I liked getting away from the celebrity world where everything was catered to my needs. My daily life is what Joe experienced on set. There were five people around him with fans to cool themselves down. While I was here, he was squeaky clean and ready to entertain while I got muddy with centipedes on my briefcase. It was truly a very humbling feeling.
For celebrities and those who have been a bit spoiled, it’s important to remember where you come from. I am someone who is easy to work with and someone I would want to come back to. It’s disgusting to see bad behavior by celebrities around the world. Are doing Deal or No Deal Island It reminded me how good I am in real life and how blessed I am. This experience is something I will always be grateful for.
