Health Concerns for Bill Clinton
Former President Bill Clinton is currently facing scrutiny regarding his health after being spotted in the Hamptons with what looks like a portable defibrillator. The 79-year-old was accompanied by his wife, Hillary, and this sighting has certainly raised concerns.
The image shows the couple with what appears to be medical equipment, reminiscent of a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag.
Recently, Clinton was released from the hospital after treatment for the flu. This incident comes on the heels of another alarming moment just a couple of months ago when he was seen stumbling on a New York City sidewalk while attending an event for his book, “First Gentleman.”
Clinton’s health has been a topic of discussion for over two decades, starting back in 2004 when he underwent quadruple bypass surgery after doctors discovered he had nearly 100% blockage in some arteries. At that time, he narrowly escaped a major heart attack.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer, he emphasized the importance of paying attention to heart health, especially for those with a family history of heart issues. He even admitted to overlooking some critical warning signs, saying, “That was my fault. I wasn’t blaming the doctors or anyone else… I was under-supervised.”
His health journey continued in 2010 with another heart surgery, where a coronary stent was inserted following chest pain. This led him to shift towards a mostly vegan diet. Interestingly, PETA honored him as “2010 Person of the Year,” which he used as a platform to endorse plant-based eating.
Before his recent health issues, Clinton was known for his hearty appetite. There are even displays at the iconic Katz’s Delicatessen showcasing his favorite order, which included two hot dogs, a pastrami sandwich, fries, diet ginger ale, and decaf coffee.
More recently, he dealt with a hospitalization for a urinary tract infection in 2021, followed by a bout with Covid-19 in 2022, and again faced hospitalization due to the flu.
Fox News Digital reached out to Clinton’s representatives for comment but did not receive a response. Similarly, attempts were made to confirm his order with Katz’s Delicatessen, but no reply came in time for this article.
