CNN Highlights Sinaloa Gangster Following Blacklisting of 2020 Election Questioners

On Saturday, CNN faced criticism for featuring members of the Sinaloa cartel, raising questions about its journalistic integrity.

This is noteworthy because it’s the same CNN that has previously blacklisted individuals questioning the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. Those voices, often treated harshly, seem to pale in comparison to cartel members, who are involved in heinous acts.

In a recent clip, CNN appeared aware that one guest is affiliated with the cartel and involved in the illegal drug trade, including fentanyl.

CNN’s Iseobelle Yong provoked a response by asking, “According to the Trump administration, you’re a terrorist… what are your thoughts?”

The reply? “We have to eat,” the cartel member said.

Then, CNN presented an easy question: “What message do you have for Donald Trump?”

The gang member returned the sentiment with “my respect,” suggesting that Trump claims to seek his people, but dismisses the demand for drugs in America—indicating that without consumers, their operation would cease.

When a CNN reporter inquired about regret over the violence linked to the cartel, the member suggested he would—perhaps implying a difference from those perceived as antagonistic, particularly Republican critics of the 2020 election.

Contrast this with previous CNN discussions where challenging Trump appears to be met differently, such as when JacTapper hosted Richard Spencer to criticize the former president.

Critics argue that corporate media is rife with biases and inconsistencies, often portraying violent figures as relatable while demonizing supporters of Donald Trump.

This reflects a broader concern that CNN, as it stands, may not have much of a future. Viewership is dwindling, and many feel the network has ceased to represent a balanced discussion.
