CNN host Jim Seite repeatedly clashed with New York City Mayor Eric Adams and CNN political commentator Brad Todd over Trump's Justice Department as he travels to cancel charges against the Ukrainian War.
Sciutto is Todd, Ministry of Justice Several officials protested Thursday, rather than complying with an order to stop the bribery lawsuit against Adams.
“This is normal,” Todd said. “Every time a new president is elected, US lawyers are removed from their job.”

Sciutto pushed back, “No, it's not normal for them to resign in protest. A series of protests not only came to New York lawyers assigned to the case, but then… they were the position of public integrity. Going to, they say no, I'm not going to drop this case under pressure,” he added, “That's not normal.”
“That's absolutely normal,” Todd said.
“They didn't do that after the change in the administration. They did it in protest of this decision,” Sait said.
“They know they'll be fired,” Todd replied, asking Saito later after multiple interruptions.

Later in the same time, in another discussion about the Ukrainian War, Sait and Todd challenged former President Obama's legacy as the war continued between Russia and Ukraine.
“It's not gym, that's wrong,” Todd said. “Barack Obama invaded Crimea and then let Russia maintain it. He did nothing to stop it. That's just a false claim.”
“I understand that I'm not going to criticize anything President Trump says,” Sait said.

Russia and Ukraine are at war When Russia first invaded its neighboring country since February 2022. Trump has repeatedly said that if he were president in 2022, war would not have erupted.
On Wednesday, Trump said he had it. “Long” call with Putin, The Russian leader included agreeing to “quickly” start negotiations on the war in Ukraine. Trump also spoke with Zelenskyy individually. After consultations with both leaders, Trump said he would “probably” meet Russian leaders in the near future, probably in Saudi Arabia.
