CNN’s Kaitlan Collins cut off mid-question by WH press secretary Karoline Leavitt

Kaitlan Collins from CNN I was cut off in the middle of a question By White House Press Director Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday – within 24 hours of the network's star correspondent being shut down when he tried to ask President Trump for follow-up.

Levitt held a courthouse with reporters when he called out Collins at a White House briefing on Thursday.

“Does the president feel he has been misled by his national security adviser? Collins asked Levitt.

The 27-year-old White House press secretary seemed frustrated by the question, and another version of that was clearly asked by another reporter.

“I've now been asked this question three times by both of you and answered it,” Leavitt said. “And I gave you my answer. The President feels the same way as yesterday.”

Collins tried to ask the spokesman for follow-up questions, but was quickly cut off by Levitt, who called out to another reporter in the room.

“I have a follow-up on what you just said,” Collins said as another reporter was asked to ask a question.

“Catlan, I'm not taking your follow-up,” Leavitt responded.

Collins tried to intervene again, but was cut off by Levitt again. He said more harshly: “Kitlan, I'm not taking your follow-up.”

Other reporters also tried to ask Leavitt's follow-up questions related to Goldberg's text messages, but were also disconnected during the briefing process. This post is being asked for comment from the White House.

A CNN spokesman declined to comment.

Last month, Leavitt thrusts his head with Collins after CNN reporters sought evidence to support Trump's claims as it was allegedly signed an autopen.

On Wednesday, Atlantic magazine released previously invisible text exchanges among Trump administration officials detailing moment-by-moment operations and specific weapons planned for the recent military strike against the Hooty rebels in Yemen.

The newly revealed text directly contradicts the early White House claims that denies that information classified in the controversial signal messaging case has been compromised.

Editor-in-Chief Goldberg shared additional parts of the conversation from the group labeled “Houthi PC Small Group Channel,” revealing delicate details surrounding the military action on March 15th.

“If this text had been received by someone hostile to American interests, or simply ignored and with access to social media, Houthis would have had time to prepare for something intended to be a surprising attack on their base,” Goldberg wrote, specifically highlighting the message written by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses.

Trump sharply suspended Collins during a White House reporter briefing on Tuesday, preventing him from fully raising questions related to the message's controversy.

Collins, who frequently clashes with the president at an event attended by the White House ambassador, tried to question Trump about the incident.

“President, you said your national security learned a lesson after reporters,” Collins began.

Trump quickly cut off her and responded horribly. “Sorry, I didn't choose you.”

He immediately turns his attention to another journalist attendee, signaling, “Please move on.”

Before Trump blocked Collins' follow-up, he asked two questions from the CNN reporter.

Earlier this year, Collins questioned Trump's elliptical office in his stake in his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, particularly his trust in Russian leaders.

“I think he wants peace,” Trump initially said of Putin.

“President Putin believes I know him well when I spoke to him yesterday. Yes, I think he wants peace.

Collins interrupted and asked, “Do you trust President Putin?”

Trump responded by attacking Collins and CNN's credibility.

“know [Biden is] Your friend. He is a friend of CNN. That's why no one is looking at CNN. Because they're not reliable,” Trump shot back, sparking laughter from several other reporters.
