CNN Chief White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins appears to have deleted the social media post after receiving backlash after coming to promote the defense fund of Luigi Mangione, a suspected Unitedhealthcare CEO Killer.
In the X post, Collins was launched by Mangion's lawyers who face first-degree murder charges to promote terrorist acts, stalkers and other state and federal charges in New York and Pennsylvania. We have provided a link to a new website. It is said that he shot down Manhattan's United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4th, 2024.
Thompson was a married father of two.
Born to a wealthy Maryland family, Mangion, 26, was arrested on December 9th at McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania after a diverse manhunt.
Following his arrest, his followers donated more than $300,000 for his legal defense.
Collins' posts attracted criticism from many users of X. This is contributed by editor Stephen L. Miller.
“The real bottom of the barrel. Also on @kaitlancollins,” Miller posted on X on Friday.
Miller also called Collins to remove the post with “no explanation.”
Wmal host Larry O'Connor commented on the situation, saying Collins “uses her considerable platform to promote the link of the cold-blooded killer defense fund.”
“She hasn't apologized yet and hasn't posted anything else within 24 hours,” he added.
Jack Posobiec, the bestselling author of the New York Times, also shared his views on Collins' X-Post.

Some users have suggested that Collins should lose his press qualifications and access to the White House.
