CNN contributor Scott Jennings discussed ESPN's Cali Champion on CNN's “NewsNight” Monday about how X (formerly Twitter) is the most politically balanced network.

Audie Cornish: Well, Scott, I want to bring you here because this is kind of relevant. [Victor] Orbán, we don't just pull it out of nowhere. There was a former member of parliament from Hungary who was writing for Politico, and he talked about this effort by his government and how concrete it was, especially in terms of media buying for propaganda. Are you asking why they are making such connections?
Scott Jennings: So you're concerned that certain media outlets will become propaganda machines for political ideologies, which is already happening on a large scale in this country? I also see what you're saying about X. I looked at a survey this week and X is now the most ideologically balanced user platform. ”
CARI Champion: Scott, Scott, stop it, it's too soon. I just sat down. I've only been here for two minutes, I can't say that. Who are the sources?
Jennings: We reported on this network.
Champion: That's not accurate, but you know that.
Jennings: Okay. You are free to have your opinion, but what I want to say is—
CORNISH: Let's look at it another way. The site has changed radically. So if you think the voice is somehow more balanced, that's fine. But definitely Musk's influence runs deep and you brought it out into the open and now Musk's opinion is out there and Musk is now part of this administration.
