The Colorado Democrats have proposed a bill that classifies “misunderstanding” and “denaming” as forms of “breakdowns” and “dead” or “forced control” considered in child custody disputes.
bill, HB25-1312was featured on Friday It is set He will be in front of the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. The bill is sponsored by Democrats. Lorena García, Rebekah Stewart Faith Winter, Sen. Chris Kolker.
The bill subscribes to the false notion that it can be identifiable or different genders, just like what is often referred to as “gender identity.” The bill defines “deadname” as “deliberately and with the intention of ignoring the expression of the individual's gender identity or gender, referring to an individual by their birth name rather than their chosen name.” The bill defines “misgender” as “deliberately and with the intention of ignoring an individual's gender identity or gender expression, referring to an individual using honor or pronouns that contradict an individual's gender identity or gender expression.”
According to Building Summarythe Act directly decides a child's custody decision and determines that it threatens to publish material related to “denaming,” “misident,” or personal sex change services as “forced control” in its child's best interests “for parenting purposes.”
The bill further defines “dead” and “misident” as discriminatory behavior in the “Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.”
The bill further prohibits Colorado courts from complying with orders or laws from other states that require children from parents or caregivers to grant access to gender-changing medications and surgery.
The Act instructs schools that establish policies relating to “chosen name” to include all reasons why students choose to choose with names other than legal names. Schools are also prohibited from including rules based on the “gender” of their dress code policy.
The bill also directs public agencies that require individuals to disclose their names so that they have options of both legal and selected names. Public authorities must use the selected name in all subsequent forms if it is different from the individual's legal name.
The bill is officially referred to as “Kelly Loving Act,” named after a man who identifies a transgender person who was killed in the 2022 Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs. According to Go to the Colorado News Line.
