Coachella Rock band Gel splits after guitarist Anthony Webster stole money for OnlyFans in heinous acts

The hardcore rock band suddenly split up due to suspected “heinous conduct” of guitarists.

New Jersey-based Gel announced that it would suddenly break up to fans in a long social media post Wednesday.

“Gel is no longer a band, so we won't be performing any of the upcoming shows currently scheduled.” The statement was read.

The band claimed that former guitarist Anthony Webster committed “such a heinous act” in an attempt to improve his personal music career that caused “irreparable damage” to the band and other members.

“It has influenced us as humans more than we're trying to explain, until we can no longer do the band completely,” the post continued.

The band consisted of Webster, singer Sami Kaiser, bassist Matthew Bobko, guitarist Madison Nave and drummer Alex Salter. According to MassLive.com.

Webster is said to have stolen tens of thousands of dollars from the band after gaining sole access to the group's bank account.

He has been accused of using the funds to pay rent, personal food orders and “whatever he really wanted.”

“He also spent it on buying only fans in the same lane, perhaps an incredible number of fans and mystical CashApp deals,” the band insisted.

Webster has been accused of leaking a series of nude photos of other band members to the website Reddit, but was caught when he didn't cover the track.

The band said they couldn't decide why the vulgar picture was.

Webster was described by his former bandmate as a “little f king baby” who could not act like an adult.

“For him and everyone around him, absolute misery and rethinking (besides those who want to impress and be nice people), the band said.

The group likened their involvement with Webster to an abusive relationship as they followed their passion for being a band separate.

“It's not that easy to give up on the pressure from something you care about, especially from outside organizations and people. It's somehow dependent on you, and I want this all to be easy.

Gel called them fighters and said they fought to the end until they could no longer do it.

“We want to send the most sincere and profound apologies to those who have an impact on the individual level and beyond,” the band said. “We are very sorry that we have to end this way. We really want the best thing for you.

“I would like to thank the friends I made over the years. I would like to thank the fans who have always been there for us and showed us how much you care. I look after each other and love each other,” the band wrote.

Gel was founded in New Jersey in 2018 as a “side project” for the band SICK S-T.

The band was scheduled to finish their 2025 Australia tour a few days before the breakup and perform at several high-end festivals, including sets during Coachella's Sunday lineup, headlined by Post Malone.

They were also planning on taking a tour with Canada's heavy metal band Spirit Box.

Called the Tsunami Sea North American Tour, the tour begins in April with a nearly sold out show without gels.

Gel planned several shows in July, halting uncertainty in Delaware and the UK.

He also appeared in works by former bands opening for the Danish band Volbeat.
