Authorities report that a reckless individual shot a pellet gun at a woman carrying her baby girl on Staten Island.
The 42-year-old woman was outside 127 Jerome Avenue in Alocher around 7 PM on Friday when the assailant, from a silver sedan, fired the weapon, hitting her while she was behind the vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries but opted not to seek medical treatment. As for the baby, the NYPD couldn’t confirm if she was harmed during the incident.
The suspect, captured on surveillance footage in a bright orange jacket, was last seen heading west on Evergreen Avenue, according to police reports.
