Cole Kmet Ties the Knot
Cole Kmet, the tight end for the Chicago Bears, married his long-time girlfriend, Emily Jaros, this past Saturday.
The couple, engaged since July 2024, exchanged vows in a church and celebrated with a reception at their parents’ backyard.
Kmet’s sister, Frankie, and her boyfriend, Lucas Van Ness, shared moments from the wedding on social media. It was a nice mix of family and friends enjoying the day.
Frankie shared on her Instagram story, “My parents’ backyard is so full of love,” as she posted clips from the dance floor.
Quarterback Caleb Williams was spotted at the reception, taking part in the couple’s first dance. It’s unclear if his girlfriend, Alina Tyregod, attended as well.
Brock Wright, a tight end from the Detroit Lions, and his fiancée Carrie Johnston were also there to celebrate.
Throughout the reception, the newlyweds shared sweet moments, dancing to a live band under string lights. The atmosphere seemed really joyful and intimate.
Kmet and Jarosz are now preparing for training camp, which begins next month. Kmet will compete for the starting tight end spot alongside Colston Loveland, the Bears’ 10th overall pick in the 2025 draft.
Interestingly, Kmet was selected by the Bears in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, marking a significant milestone in his journey with the team.
The Bears are set to kick off their 2025 season against the Vikings at Soldier Field on September 8th.
